Philosophy behind Personal Information protection

Judicial Scrivener Cast Global (hereinafter referred to as "our company") conducts business mainly focused on registration services, adult guardianship, inheritance registration, debt consolidation work, litigation under jurisdiction of the summary court. Personal information acquired from customers through business activities and personal information of our employees (hereinafter referred to as "personal information") are important information for our company and it is our social responsibility to protect such personal information. We assure "peace of mind" for our customers and our employees regarding personal information protection and protect such personal information according to the policy stated below.


1. Acquisition, use and provision of personal information

  • We will acquire personal information by lawful and fair means.
  • We will use personal information to the extent necessary for achieving the purpose of use of such information.
  • In case of providing personal information to a third party, we make sure that we have the consent of the individual in advance.
  • We will take necessary measures not to use acquired personal information for purposes other than that of the disclosed purpose.
  • In case of using personal information for purpose other than that are intended,we will make sure that we obtain the consent for new purpose of use prior to using such personal information.

2. Regarding the laws, guidelines established by the government and other norms (hereinafter referred to as "laws and regulations, etc.")

We strive constantly to grasp the laws and regulations related to the business dealing with personal information, notify employees engaged in our business (hereinafter referred to as "employees") and comply with such laws.

3. Management of personal information Security

Regarding complaints and consultation concerning the handling of personal information, we have set up a personal information inquiry window and we strive to establish a system through which we can respond promptly and in good faith.

5. On continuous improvement

  • In order to protect personal information, our company's personal information protection management system monitors and audits the compliance situation of internal regulations, endeavors to find violations, incidents, accidents and weak points, and reviews with management. We will reflect this in the control measures and internal regulations and make efforts to continuously improve the personal information protection management system.
  • As for improvement, we comply with laws and regulations and JIS Q 15001.

【Procedure for requesting disclosure etc】

The procedure for corresponding to the Notice of use of purpose, disclosure, correction of contents, addition or deletion, suspension of use, suspension of provision to third parties with respect to personal information to be disclosed held by the Company from the person himself or his agent ( "request for disclosure") is as follows.

1. Application for request for disclosure etc.

For requests for disclosure please attach required documents to the personal information disclosure request, and send it by post. When sending invoice by post, please make sure that delivery record is traceable by using methods such as delivery record mail or simple registered mail. In addition we greatly appreciate if you could write "Enclosed Personal Information Request" in red ink in the envelope.

2. Documents to be submitted for request for disclosure

When making a request for disclosure etc, please complete all required items on the invoice for personal information disclosure etc and send them by post.

3. Verify your identity

We may contact you by phone to verify your identity for disclosure request. However, if you cannot verify your identity by telephone, we may request you to present a copy of your driver's license, resident's card, health insurance card etc.

4. Request for disclosure by an agent

When an agent is making the request for disclosure etc, please enclose the following documents in addition to the invoice for personal information disclosure etc.

  1. Documents for verifying agent's identity. Copy of driver's license, copy of resident's card, health insurance card
    ※ Please prepare copies which includes domicile.
  2. Power- of- Attorney (signed and stamed by the principal and attach a registration certificate of the stamp seal. If the agent is a legal representative such as a custodian or the like, It is also possible to submit documents that prove such relationship instead of the power of attorney)

5. Disclosure fee related to request for notice of purpose of use

In the case of requesting disclosure of personal information and notice of purpose of use, a fee of 500 yen (including tax) will be charged for each request. Please enclose a 500 yen worth of postal stamp fixed envelope to the documents you submit. The postal fee shall be borne by the customer. Please note that we will not be able to notify you of the disclosure and purpose of use if the fee is insufficient and if the fee is not enclosed.

6. Responding to Requests of disclosure

We will reply in writing to the address written in the claimant's invoice.
